Kheerganga Trek is an easy-to-moderate trek that offers breathtaking views of the Kangra Valley and the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges. Located at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges in Himachal Pradesh, Triund is a popular trekking destination for nature lovers and trekkers alike. With scenic views, oak, and rhododendron forests, this trek is perfect for beginners and families alike. The 2-day trek is short but rewarding, offering picturesque vistas of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and valleys.
Upon arrival at Mcleodganj, you will be transferred to the base camp. After a short briefing by the guide, you will start your trek to Triund. The trek is of moderate difficulty and will take approximately 4-5 hours. Enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills, lush greenery, and beautiful landscapes. Arrive at Triund and check into your camps for an overnight stay.
In the morning, enjoy a beautiful sunrise at Triund and have breakfast. Afterward, begin your descent back to Mcleodganj. The return trek is easier and quicker, taking about 3-4 hours. Once you reach Mcleodganj, you can explore the town or relax before your departure.
